What to do in Navàs at the weekend: murals, wine, Romanesque churches and dinner

Navàs, in the Bages area, is a town for spending an unhurried day. Here's a weekend plan built around what the town has to offer, finishing with dinner at ours.
Morning: the Muràlia mural trail
Muràlia is the Navàs mural trail: a walk past the town's painted walls. The Ajuntament (town council) has an interactive map at muralia.navas.cat so you can follow it step by step. It's a relaxed stroll and perfect for taking photos.
Midday: DO Pla de Bages wine
The Centre Enoturístic del Pla de Bages (wine tourism centre) is in Navàs, in the old Escorxador (former slaughterhouse) on the Castellet road. It's the welcome point for the DO Pla de Bages: there you'll discover that the Bages was once the area with the most vineyards, as well as the vine's yearly cycle and the local grape varieties. Tickets are sold at entrades.navas.cat.
Afternoon: Romanesque churches and nature
- Romanesque churches. The municipality has Romanesque churches such as Sant Cugat del Racó, which hosts concerts in the Sonos series.
- On foot or by bike. Navàs has hiking and mountain-bike (BTT) routes, plus a permanent orienteering course in Castelladral.
- History. The «Les pedres que parlen» (the stones that speak) route and the historical memory route tell the story of the town's past.
You'll find all the information on the Ajuntament de Navàs tourism website.
If you're coming in November: Navàs T'APAssiona
From 5 to 22 November 2026, the whole town goes out for tapas on the Navàs T'APAssiona trail: €5 per tapa, served with a DO Pla de Bages wine. We open on Thursdays in November from 7:30 pm to 9 pm for the trail. All the details in Navàs T'APAssiona 2026.
